Gargi Ghosh

Dr Gargi Ghosh is presently working as a freelance artist and designer. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Painting, with a specialisation in Painting, from Kala Bhavana, Visva-Bharati (2012-19). She has recently completed her doctoral research on the visual-cultural impact of local popular culture on Kolkatans (2026). As a practising artist, her area of interest is the impact of space and surroundings on personal mindscape. The narrative quality of her works blends beautifully with the illustrations and book cover designs that she additionally takes on as a designer.
